We're excited to be able to give away two pairs of tickets to see Japan's GHOST at Spaceland on May 21st. This is their first trip to the Unted States since they banned themselves from traveling here in protest of the Bush administration. GHOST is more psych than metal, though they occassionally can get heavy, and have enlisted the ample services of guitarist Michio Kurihara for the last 5 years or so, who you may know for his collaborations with th almighty BORIS (in particular, the loungy shogazery of Rainbow). But most people consider them a folkier version of ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE. There's almost a classical vibe which might make the Disney Hall an interesting candidate for a future show. Until then, we have the intimacy of Spaceland. Here's sample of what you might experience.
