L.A.’s home-grown vinyl distributor opens it’s doors to the public!

On Saturday, October 8th, 2011, and on the second Saturday of each month going forward, Cobraside Distribution will open the doors of it’s (normally) wholesale-only warehouse to the public. Cobraside celebrates it’s tenth anniversary in October of this year, and is a coast-to-coast vinyl specialist stocking 6500+ new, sealed vinyl titles, a wider and deeper catalog than any given retailer in the country can offer.

Each month the event will be co-hosted with a local independent vinyl store, and a local independent label or artist. Oct.8, 2011 will be co-hosted by Atwater Village’s newest addition, the vinyl (and 8-track) store Jacknife Records. The participating label will be named shortly.

These events pose a unique opportunity for SoCal vinyl enthusiasts to get an inside peak at a wholesale operation, and to access virtually the entire history of rock on vinyl, at special wholesale prices. Come over to the big boat-of-misfits warehouse and check yerself.

Enjoy a vinyl selection more in depth than ever before. Selections range from standard Doors reissues to every one sided, rare, one time punk pressing you can imagine. Rancid picture discs, Nirvana colored vinyl bonus discs, John Coltrane 200 gram classics to every Velvet Underground piece of vinyl available. Rare vinyl Box sets, plus 10”’s and 7”s of every kind. Unearth your treasures here. Noon to 7 PM.
